Agrobacterium-mediated transformation of spring camelina with yeast genes of trehalose biosynthesis

Aim. The aim of the study was obtaining Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz lines with yeast genes trehalose synthesis TPS1 and TPS2 to increase their resistance drought. Methods. Seeds C. genotype FEORZhYaF-1 were used for in vitro culture establishment. For this hypocotyl segments shoot meristems 5-days-old camelina seedlings cultivated on three different nutrient media regeneration supplemented various hormone combinations. Vector constructions pGWB2-TPS1 pGWB2-TPS2 have been genetic transformation. Results. highest efficiency plant from explants found medium 1 mg/l BAP 0.1 NAA, meristem – 1.5 0.5 NAA. Agrobacterium-mediated transformation conducted out, picked up corresponding selective concentration hygromycin. Transgenic nature obtained plants confirmed by PCR-analysis. Conclusions. has investigated. Two types two vector transgenic lines.
